A Pressure Reducing Valve, or commonly a PRV, is a device placed inline from your water source (tap or pump) to reduce or regulate the pressure of the running water. This is to protect lower density pipework (LDPE only has a maximum pressure rating of 300kPa) and provide consistency to drip line emitters and sprinkler or spray heads.
