This Watts 1 1/2" anti-siphon pressure vacuum breaker is designed to prevent backsiphonage of contaminated water into a potable water supply. It's ideal for irrigation systems, industrial process water systems, and other continuous pressure piping system applications where water enters the equipment at or below the flood rim. This vacuum breaker has a 1 1/2" inlet and outlet size, and it features a cast copper silicon alloy body, stainless steel springs, and silicone rubber discs. It also allows for easy maintenance of internal parts.This vacuum breaker's disc float and check valve are suitable for temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit with a range of 33 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI. It features an O-ring bonnet seal for less possibility of fouling, and an acetal bonnet acts as a freeze plug, preventing body damage. Plus, this vacuum breaker can be used with SentryPlus Alert (sold separately) to activate the freeze sensor, which indicates when temperatures near the freezing point, helping to reduce or eliminate equipment replacement or repair. Additionally, this vacuum breaker has a compact and space-saving design and is equipped with a tee handle quarter turn ball valve.
