All parts of the inspector exam are covered in this class. The state plumbing inspector exam has four parts, all four parts will be covered during the class. The first day will cover code, pipe sizing, commercial inspections and illustrations. The second day will cover license law and water heaters. The first day, inspectors will stay after the masters leave. The second day the inspectors can leave before noon if they want to. We will also be covering things unique to the masters and the inspectors are welcome to stay for that instruction.

As of September 1, 2017 anyone can take their Continuing Ed by Correspondence. Continuing Education by Correspondence does not count towards classes for the Tradesman or Journeyman exams. This Correspondence Continuing Education is for licenses that expire between September 2021 and August 2022.

The first 24 hours includes 8 hours residential plumbing code, 10 hours of OSHA, and 6 hours Apprentice Continuing Education.

As of February 1, 2010, the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners requires 24 hours of training to qualify for the Tradesman Exam and 48 hours to qualify for the Journeyman Exam.

The state master plumbing exam has three parts. All three parts will be covered. The first day will cover multi-story drain, waste and vent systems (designing and drawing). The first day will also cover plumbing code and pipe sizing by the state sizing charts. The second day will cover specialty areas on the state exam. (OSHA, ADA, LP gas, water heaters, licensing law and math).

You can take the Water Supply Protection Specialist Endorsement Examination if: you are currently licensed as a Master Plumber, Journeyman Plumber or Plumbing Inspector in Texas; and you have completed a 24-hour training course approved by the TSBPE The 24-hour training class covers customer service inspections and the installation, service and repair of plumbing associated with the treatment, use and distribution of rainwater to supply a plumbing fixture.

This Board approved Continuing Education class is for the renewal period from January 2024 to December 2024. This class will renew your license for the 2024 calendar year. It will also provide 6 hours of the required 48 hours for the training for the Journeyman exam.

This 8 Hour class is taught in 1 day and follows the state approved outline for Residential Plumbing Code needed to qualify for the Tradesman and Journeyman Exam.

This Board approved  Apprentice Continuing Education class is for the renewal period from January 2024 to December 2024. This class will renew your license for the 2024 calendar year. It will also provide 6 hours of the required 48 hours for the training for the Journeyman exam and 6 hours of the required 24 hours for the Tradesman exam. This class will be required to be taken 1 time by all Apprentices with an endorsement to renew the endorsement. It will be required for an Apprentice applying for an endorsement on their registration. This class only has to be taken 1 time regardless of the year

This 24 hour class meets the State Plumbing Board requirements for taking the exam for the Journeyman or Master endorsement. This class covers the NFPA 13D and it will be provided in the class.

This 10 hour OSHA class will be taught in 2 days as required by OSHA. This class is required before you take the Journeyman or Tradesman exam.

3 day training program covering the NFPA 99C. This course meets the requirements set by the State Plumbing Board for taking the exam for Journeyman and Master endorsement. The NFPA 99C will be provided with the class.

This 2-hour Continuing Education class is state of Texas approved to renew your Medical Gas Endorsement. This class is only available in a class taught by Doug McAfee or Johnny Kurten.

This 18 hour class will be taught in 2 days and cover the state approved outline needed to qualify for the Journeyman exam.
