We love Ironshield! First of all, local brewery, so that is immediately awesome! 2nd of all, the beer is fantastic and they are making seasonal stuff as well! The seasonal hefeinwisen is really tasty but I'm very partial to the seven sisters amber. I also enjoy the stout during the winter. Third of all, the staff is really great! The beer is always the allure to go check out local breweries, but its the staff that keep you coming back. Everyone behind the bar is friendly and actually act like they want you there! My wife and I with a group of friends like to go on Wednesdays for trivia and it is a great atmosphere. There is a tabletop shuffleboard and darts inside and outdoor patio for other events. We have even gone when they have food trucks too! They have a very small menu for appetizers because they don't have a kitchen, but they have no problem with you bringing in your own food. They host a cornhole league, which we wanted to join but couldn't get enough people together but I imagine it's a great place to socialize. Ironshield is celebrating its 2nd year this Saturday and I hope they are around for many years to come!
