watts909 backflow preventer4"

This series features an integrated flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. Activated through an add-on connection kit, the sensor can trigger the alert system sending notification of flood detection to facility personnel. Connection kits are available for BMS and cellular communication.

Series LF909-FS Large reduced pressure valve assembly backflow preventer is designed to prevent the reverse flow of liquids in a plumbing system due to backpressure or backsiphonage where there is a potential health hazard. An exclusive relief valve design provides substantially improved relief valve discharge performance during emergency conditions of combined backsiphonage and backpressure. These large diameter backflow preventers are available in 2-1/2 to 10 inch sizes.

The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek™ technology to resist corrosion due to microbial induced corrosion (MIC) or exposed metal substrate.

This potable water expansion tank is used on gas, oil, or electric, direct-fired, residential water heater and hot water storage tank applications to absorb the increased volume of water created by thermal expansion. It also maintains balanced pressure throughout the water supply system by keeping system pressure below the T&P relief valve setting. This field-adjustable steel tank is air pre-charged at 20 psi, volume 4.5 gallons, designed with an FDA-approved polypropylene liner and Butyl rubber diaphragm, copper-lined steel, and 3/4 inch male inlet connection. An expansion membrane prevents air-to-water contact in the tank ensuring a long system life. IAPMO listed and ANSI/NSF 61 certified. The maximum pressure is 150 psi (10 bar).
