The Hennepin Technical College Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship curriculum is designed to help prepare students for entry level employment in Minnesota with an established Plumbing Contractor. The State of Minnesota requires an additional 7,000 OJT (On-the-Job) work hours to be eligible to apply for Plumbing licensure. Hennepin Technical College is unable to make a determination if the Plumbing program curriculum meets the licensing requirements for any other state or US protectorate. You will want to contact the licensing board in which state you intend to pursue licensure for their requirements. You may use the link below to see a list of each states licensing board. If you have further questions about licensure for Plumbing, please feel free to contact Jennifer McDowell, Interim Academic Dean.
