All of our Atlantic Valve manual ball valves come standard with PTFE seals, also known as Teflon™, which along with the lead-free stainless-steel body make this valve excellent for anything from potable water to corrosive chemicals and is capable of pharmaceutical and food-grade applications*. These are extremely versatile valves, rated for temperatures ranging from -25° F to 356° F and pressure up to 1000PSI, and can be used on nearly all fluids and many gases. All wetted parts are made from stainless steel, which is inherently inert and resistant to rust. Always consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.

The BV-3PC-10-S series is our Stainless Steel 3-piece manual ball valve line. 3-Piece Ball Valves consist of three pieces: two threaded end caps and the stainless steel valve body, ranging from ¼” up to 3”, held together by 4 bolts. The main advantage of three-piece ball valves is that you can clean, perform maintenance tasks, or repair the valve without complete removal from the line. This makes the 3-piece ball valve the preferred choice in any applications where cleaning is required frequently such as pharmaceutical and food and beverage applications.

Contrary to single piece ball valves, multiple piece ball valves can house a larger ball allowing a larger opening than single piece valves. The larger ball ensures there is no decrease in the diameter of the opening, also called “Full Bore” or “Full Port.” The benefits of full-bore valves are that there is no pressure drop or change in flow rate as media passes through the valve. This valve comes standard with Female NPT threading making installation easy, no tools necessary.

These 3pc ball valves are completely manual and can be opened to different degrees, a process called throttling or locked in the fully open or fully closed positions. This allows users to control flow when necessary. We recommend having a manual ball valve in line with any solenoid or motorized valve. ensures that you can manually shut off the supply of media for routine maintenance.
