How to install atrapprimer

Installation Instructions First close the outlet shutoff valve,then close theinlet shutoff valve,drain the residual water completely. Then unscrew the topnut and release the brass canopy. Take out the old Bonnet & Poppet parts anddispose. Then put the new poppet inside the chamber.Unscrew the nuts from thebonnet copper column,then hand tighten the bonnet part clockwise into thevacuum breaker(Apply grease on threading if needed.) Place the canopy onto thesecured bonnet part by put bonnet column through the canopy hole. Tighten thetop nuts back to secure the canopy. Finally Open the inlet ball valve topressurize the device,temporary splash is normal,the “splash”will auto shutoffonce the device is fully pressurized.Then slowly open the outlet ball valve tofill the downstream line.
