Use these water pressure regulators to control excessive pressure in residences located near your water system's source. They are rated for inlet pressures up to 300 psi, with outlet pressure adjustable within the ranges specified below. A built-in bypass prevents excessive system pressure buildup caused by thermal expansion on the outlet side of the valve (bypass will not operate at pressures above 150 psi).

Red Valve developed the revolutionary Tideflex Check Valve in conjunction with the United States EPA because a need was identified for a better backflow prevention device. The EPA felt that metal flapgates were responsible for wasting millions of dollars annually by allowing water that did not need to be treated to backflow into treatment plants. (CR 807-822)

Since it's first installation in New York harbor, the patented Tideflex Check Valve has quickly spread around the world to become the valve of choice for reliable backflow prevention. The 100% rubber construction and unique duckbill shape of the valve make it ideal for wastewater treatment applications where raw sewage, debris, sand and mud all hinder flapgate style valves.

A range of Tideflex Check Valve designs are available to allow installation in almost any type of application and on any type of pipe. Valve can be slipped onto or into existing pipe, secured with ANSI flanges, connected with thimble plates or any number of other custom configurations.
