Taking the spent cartridge out and putting in a new one is fast and easy. There’s no need to hire a handyman or pay a plumber – you really can do it yourself in around 10 seconds. Simply twist the end of the tap to the left, remove the top nozzle, then take out the old cartridge and replace it with a new one.

If you’ve been away for the weekend or longer, we recommend that you run the tap for 20 seconds before the filter operates optimally.

NOTE If you use the same filter for longer than the recommended 4 months, the filter will not work optimally. So, if at any time you don’t want to enjoy having filtered water available at your fingertips, we advise you to take out the filter cartridge and use it as a normal tap, until you get a new replacement cartridge.

Taqua cartridges need to be replaced after around 4 months of usage, so the Taqua built-in filtration sink mixer can perform optimally. The most convenient way to keep your Taqua filtering to perfection, is to arrange for scheduled delivery of ongoing replacement cartridges – so you don’t have to remember to order each time.
