We offer a full selection of thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs). These products are designed to blend cold and hot water supplies in order to provide warm water to applications such as showers, baths and wash basins. Our range of temperature control valve solutions includes 5213 and 5230 models.

Our in-house servicing team and on the road engineer are dedicated to maximizing product longevity and minimizing on-site interruption

TMVs perform a crucial function in domestic hot water systems that feature storage. In order to prevent growth of the dangerous bacteria Legionella in these systems, hot water must be stored at a temperature no lower than 60°C. However, when it is this hot, water can cause scalding. TMVs serve to blend hot and cold water at point of use. They do this by offering proportional control of both hot and cold water to provide a suitable outlet temperature. This can be adjusted between 30°C and 50°C by means of tamperproof controls. When installed and maintained correctly, these valves fulfil the duty of care requirements against scalding.

Arrow Valves have a thorough understanding of the current Water Regulations and how the Water Supply Industry is interpreting them - call for guidance or click for online resources including tutorials and our BIM model library
