Water monitoring training program through Central Regional TAFE and the Department of Water and Environment Regulation (DWER).  To date, two trainees have been through the program and are now employed by the Water Company.

Series 009-AUS reduced pressure zone backflow preventer devices are designed to protect potable water supplies in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. This series can be used in a variety of installations, including the prevention of health hazard cross-connections in piping systems or for containment at the service line entrance. This series features two in-line, independent check valves, captured springs and replaceable check seats with an intermediate relief valve. Its compact modular design facilitates easy maintenance and assembly access.

YSRC is currently developing a Yamatji Water Strategy that will clearly outline the 25 gigalitres its location and quality.

The Yamatji People’s strong connection to water is recognised in the ILUA (Clause 17), with specific recognition of the spiritual relationship of the Yamatji Nation with water.

The Yamatji Water Company was formed in July 2023.  It is a joint venture between the Right Water Company and Yamatji Enterprises Limited.

Water sites restoration project to identify, restore and protect cultural sites.  The Yamatji Water Company is currently working with the Cultural Authority to identify 4 important sites.
