This tank helps ensure the system pressure is maintained below the relief setting of the relief valve. Featuring a durable expansion membrane, this tank prevents contact of the water with the air in the tank. It has a rugged, flexible butyl diaphragm to minimize the loss of the air change and ensure a long and trouble-free life for the system.This expansion tank has an air pre-charge of 20 PSI and can be used with most standard hot water heaters and storage tanks. It has a 3/4" male connection, a tank volume of 2.1 gallons, and a durable steel outer shell.
