The Ames 3000SS is a double check detector assembly (DCDA). It is available in 2 1/2″-12″ sizes and has been in production since 1990. The body is made of stainless steel. The 3000SS has used multiple devices for the bypass assembly. It currently utilizes a 3/4″ 2000BM3 for the bypass assembly. The Watts 774DCDA is a private label of the 3000SS.
