The Sioux Chief Mini-Rester is designed to effectively absorb water hammer shock, preventing damage to pipes and reducing noise in plumbing systems. Its body, made from seamless Type L copper, houses a piston with EPDM O-rings, lubricated with approved 111 Silicone Compound, to compress air and dissipate pressure waves caused by fast-acting fixtures. The Mini-Rester is simple to install with BSP male thread fittings and is suitable for a range of domestic and commercial applications, including supply lines to dishwashers, washing machines, and fast-action taps.

Compliance and Standards: The Mini-Rester complies with AS/NZS 3500.1 and is WaterMark approved under AS 5200.007 (WM-020003), ensuring reliability and safety. It operates at a maximum temperature of 90°C and can withstand pressures up to 1500 kPa, with surge protection reaching up to 2300 kPa.
